The company was founded during the downturn of the mining industry, in order to provide affordable services with efficient mineral support and mineral processing solutions.
MPG’s vision is also to provide clients with superior, affordable and optimal coal processing solutions. MPG’s vision is to become the industry leader for Coal Processing and Mineral Processing in the United States. It hopes to expand and become a world leader within Mining Solutions.
The MPG Bursary Programme – Fields covered
Mineral Processing Guru Bursary invites students to apply for its bursary program for the 2020 academic year.
The bursary will be awarded to exceptional engineering students who reside in the Emakhazeni Municipality of Mpumalanga and are pursuing their studies.
The award is intended for students pursuing engineering studies with a focus on:
- Chemistry
- Industrialism
- Metals
- The Mechanism
The award is intended to help students with financial difficulties by providing them the opportunity to continue their studies. Mineral Processing Guru is committed to building expertise in the mineral processing industry.
The bursary will help meet the current and future skill requirements of the country with a particular focus on the mineral processing sector. The main objective of the company is to alleviate the shortage of professionals in Mineral Processing.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS FOR THE MPG BURSARY
Before applying, applicants must meet the minimum requirements (please be aware that if you do not meet all of the requirements your application will not be considered).
- You must be a South African Citizen
- You must live in the Emakhazeni Municipality, Mpumalanga Province
- You must have completed Matriculation
- You must be a student in one of the Engineering disciplines listed above
- In 2024, you must have completed your first degree or diploma.
- You must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a South African public University, University of Technology or a similar institution.
- Academic excellence is required
- You must be in financial hardship
