About the WSP Bursary – Fields Covered
WSP invites students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2025 academic year. Bursaries are available for Engineering degree studies (BEng / BSc (Eng) / BIng) in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Sciences
- Mechanical Engineering
Bursary recipients may also have the opportunity to participate in vacation work and employment opportunities after their studies, where available.
Eligibility Requirements for the WSP Bursary
To apply, you must meet these criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed Matric
- Be studying towards one of the listed Engineering degree qualifications
- Be entering your 2nd, 3rd, or final year of study in 2025
- Be studying at a recognized and accredited university in South Africa
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% for your qualification to date
- Have passed all subjects for the 2024 academic year to date
- Be passionate about Engineering and dedicated to your studies
- NOT be in receipt of any other bursary or scholarship funding
Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates.
