Milliman Opportunity Scholarship
Scholarship America is the program manager. They are one of America’s top managers and designers of educational assistance programs, including scholarships, tuition support and other forms of financial aid.
Milliman decides the eligibility of each program on its own. Scholarship America evaluates any applications that meet the eligibility requirements.
Scholarship Awards
Milliman will award 10 to 25 awards worth at least US$5,000 or more. The award is not guaranteed to be renewed, but students can reapply each year if they meet eligibility requirements.
These awards are available only to undergraduate students. Scholarship America will select the finalists based on academic records and essays submitted.
Milliman Inc. will select the finalists from this list. The Sponsor can consider the leadership abilities of the students, their involvement in school and community activities as well as the work experience they have listed in their application when selecting the recipients. The diversity of recipients will reflect the applicant pool if there are enough applicants.
Previous recipients will receive preference. The 2023 applicants will be given consideration for sponsorship in 2024. Some applicants may not be chosen for the program. You agree to accept the final decision of all parties by applying.
Scholarship America processes the payments on behalf of Milliman Inc. The funds are then distributed to the schools in August. Wire transfers are used to pay scholarship payments for students who live outside of the USA or Canada.
According to the Foreign Assets Control Office of the US Department of the Treasury, both the recipients and their educational institutions have to meet the conditions for receiving funds from the United States.
Note that the results will be announced by the end of June.
