Formed in 2000, the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) is dedicated to positively impacting training and skills development within the construction industry. They kickstart skills projects and learnerships to boost human resources and improve the construction workforce in South Africa.
As an accredited Education and Training Quality Assurance (ETQA) body, CETA’s mission is to build a strong skills base to support economic empowerment and infrastructural development. The construction industry they cater to includes four sub-sectors: Materials Manufacturing; Built Environment Professions; Building Construction; and Roads and Civil Construction.
CETA has recently renamed its bursary programme to the Thapelo Madibeng Bursary in honor of the late Mr. Thapelo Madibeng, a core business executive who sadly passed away in August 2018.
